1) AI in security: Whether it's online or in-person the danger of the world is always present. AI can be used to help secure these facilities, by making sure the person you are texting has valid information, detecting the emotions of the people who appear at your front door, detecting unusual faces in front of your house, recognizing dangerous websites, etc.
2) AI in Healthcare: While this is a recent hot topic in AI, there are many ways artificial intelligence is being used to help hospitals and doctors make better final decisions for their patients. Such tools are diagnosis algorithm, segmentation of tumors through images, therapist like bots, chatbots, healthcare managing to keep records more organized, etc.
3) AI in Sports: While one could argue that sports is best played through the mind of a human, models can be trained to think of new strategies, new dance routines, and better techniques when strategizing to play games. For example, one could use AI to find new patterns in basketball games to find weaknesses and strengths in certain players.
4) AI in Video Games: One of the more popular industries of AI is in video games. As of now, almost every video game has some form of artificial intelligence. Finding the best patterns through search algorithms, or training unsupervised learning for better player experience, or training bots to compete with players.
